This is what West Brom players think about Ryan Mason in latest sack update after Hull loss
Ryan Mason is under increasing pressure after West Brom fell to yet another loss away at Hull City.
Oli McBurnie scored the only goal of the game from the penalty spot as West Brom were beaten 1-0 by Hull at the MKM Stadium on Saturday.
Alfie Gilchrist was sent off 15 minutes from time to compound the Baggies’ misery, as they suffered their eighth straight away defeat in the Championship.
Many West Brom fans believe that Mason needs to be sacked for progress to be made, but those at The Hawthorns seem to disagree with that notion.
West Brom players have clear opinion of Ryan Mason
West Brom are now sitting 16th in the Championship as the season nears the halfway point, with just 28 points to their name.
The Baggies’ faint hopes of reaching the play-offs are diminishing by the game, and the Midlands side are now seven points adrift of Millwall in sixth.
However, according to former Baggies employee Chris Lepkowski, there is no desire within the club to move Mason on at this stage.
The former Tottenham man is still well-liked by the players and those above him, despite the opinions of those on the outside.
It appears that it would need to get a lot worse for the situation to change and for Mason to be under real sack pressure from the hierarchy at The Hawthorns.

Ryan Mason is entering critical run for West Brom job
Despite the fact that Mason still has the support of those at West Brom, if the poor results continue, then he looks destined for the sack.
The Baggies have two home games immediately after Christmas, against Bristol City and QPR, which provides them with a real opportunity to get back to winning ways.
West Brom are unbeaten since the middle of September at The Hawthorns, in complete contrast to their away form, and will be hoping to continue that run for as long as possible.
If Mason fails to pick up a win from either of the next two matches, though, then the calls for his dismissal will keep getting louder in 2026.
