West Brom next manager: Odds revealed for Slaven Bilic’s stunning return to The Hawthorns
Ryan Mason’s future at West Brom is still uncertain.
West Brom lost 1-0 to Hull City last time out in the Championship, making it three defeats in four for Albion.
Mason has been tipped for the sack at West Brom in the last couple of weeks, as the 34-year-old keeps showing inconsistency in results for the Baggies.
Slaven Bilic has been linked with a West Brom return in the past, and following the latest odds update, a Hawthorns reunion could happen in 2026.

Slaven Bilic emerges as big contender for West Brom job
Bilic was appointed as West Brom boss back in 2019, before being relieved of his duties in December 2020.
His dismissal was always regarded as controversial, given that West Brom had just picked up an impressive point away to Manchester City in the Premier League before the call was made.
Sam Allardyce was the Croatian’s replacement, but the Englishman was unable to prevent the Baggies from the drop that season.
One major bookmaker has now slashed Bilic’s odds down to 12/1 for the former Albion boss to come back to The Hawthorns, while Michael Carrick remains the favourite at 3/1.
Carlos Corberan is also a challenger to replace Mason, with the former Albion boss now sitting at favourable odds of 9/2.
This could be when Ryan Mason is finally sacked
West Brom are heading into the most congested period of fixtures in the Championship, but with the Black Country club in 16th place, it’s fair to say that Mason is underachieving.
Albion always set their minimum to fight for the play-offs, but at this rate, settling for a mid-table finish looks likely.
Shilen Patel may back his head coach in January, which means if Mason fails to deliver, he could be gone in the first quarter of 2026.
If the Englishman hasn’t turned things around by February with the help of new signings, Patel and Co. will have no other choice but to axe him.
This is why smart planning is needed in January, with Albion needing to recruit players while keeping Mason’s potential exit in mind.
