Leicester City vs West Brom weather latest: Will it snow and could match be postponed?
West Brom’s away match against Leicester City on Monday is set to take place in freezing conditions.
Pressure continues to grow on Ryan Mason at The Hawthorns, and West Brom’s 1-0 loss to Swansea on Thursday certainly hasn’t helped his case.
West Brom have lost nine consecutive away games in the Championship, and supporters have united in wanting Mason sacked as the Baggies sit nine points off the playoff places.
2026 kicked off in the worst possible way for the under-fire manager, and their slim playoff hopes will take an even bigger blow should they lose on the road again.
They take on a Leicester side that are also struggling under Marti Cifuentes, and concerns over the weather across England have emerged.
Leicester vs West Brom not at risk of postponement
No weather warnings have been put in place for the Midlands, despite there being a risk of snow in the North East and South West of England.
Weather warnings have been issued by the Met Office for the entirety of Scotland and for the East and West of England, but the Leicester area itself remains unaffected.
With the match kicking off at 8pm, fans can expect a frosty temperature of around -3 degrees Celsius for the duration of the game.
No rain is expected, and the game will not be postponed at the King Power Stadium unless there is a serious change in weather conditions.

Mason won’t be distracted by the cold conditions as he aims to stop the rot away from home.
Why Leicester game could be Ryan Mason’s last in charge of West Brom
With a win percentage of just 34.62, Mason is certainly making the headlines for all the wrong reasons.
Indeed, the Baggies are also on course for their worst league finish since 1999-2000 when they finished 21st in Division 1 (Championship).
West Brom drew 1-1 with Leicester on 26 September, with Nat Philipps scoring a 93rd-minute own goal at The Hawthorns.
The Baggies dominated that match, and Mason will look to take advantage of a side that has failed to gain any sort of consistency under Cifuentes.
If West Brom lose on Monday, it’ll be 10 away defeats in a row, and it seems unfathomable for the 34-year-old to remain in the job if he oversees the worst run in the club’s history.
A win will provide him with some stability and a platform to build on, and for his own sake as much as the team’s, there is no other option but for Mason to lead the Baggies to a victory at the King Power Stadium.
