West Brom get new Eric Ramsay timeframe as ‘final bits’ being sorted
West Brom look set to name Eric Ramsay as their new manager.
Ryan Mason was sacked by West Brom after the 2-1 defeat to Leicester on 5 January, which was their 10th consecutive away loss.
Ramsay was a contender last summer, and Andrew Nestor has revisited interested in the 34-year-old Minnesota United boss.
Lewis Cox reported on 10 January that the final bits and formalities are being sorted, and shared an update on when he could be appointed.

When could Eric Ramsay be appointed as West Brom boss
West Brom are understood to have beat other English teams to Ramsay’s services, but he is not expected to be in charge for the FA Cup clash with Swansea on Sunday.
However, the report from Cox did share a timeframe as to when he may be in charge of the Black Country club.
The Express and Star journalist stated that he would be surprised if Ramsay was not in place at some point next week.
What should West Brom fans expect from Ramsay?
Baggies supporters are not fully convinced by Ramsay, as he is a young, relatively inexperienced manager, just like Mason.
However, his record with the American side speaks for itself, as he has led them to sixth and fourth-place finishes in the Western Conference.
He averages a 1.60 points per game ratio, which is considerably better than Mason’s average of 1.15, but it does come with the caveat that he is managing in MLS.
Ramsay is said to be adaptive when it comes to his tactics, but he usually sets up in a 5-4-1 or a 5-3-2 set-up, which should give Albion defensive solidity.
His side typically utilises counter-attacking transitions and set-pieces, which should benefit the squad available to him in the West Midlands.
Supporters at Allianz Field are devastated that they are losing the highly-rated boss, which should give Baggies fans confidence that he is a solid appointment.
Nestor is not going to stop using his data-led approach, and it has led him to Ramsay, so he needs to be given the backing from the fanbase when he steps into the dugout.
