Every player West Brom could sign before deadline, including ex-EFL enforcer and Scottish starlet

West Brom are still waiting to make their first January signing.

The transfer window has been open for 20 days, but supporters at The Hawthorns are yet to see a new arrival.

West Brom’s 3-2 loss to Middlesbrough last time out made it clear that Eric Ramsay needs additions, if he is to redeem this season.

Here, West Brom News looks at every player that has been linked with the Baggies this month, with the deadline rapidly approaching.

West Brom eyeing midfield reinforcements

West Brom want to bolster their engine room, and Nectar Triantis is one of the midfielders to be linked with Albion.

Ramsay is familiar with the former EFL enforcer from his time with Minnesota United, as the ex-Sunderland ace played 10 times under his leadership before he came to the Baggies.

Scottish starlet Bailey Rice is another potential addition, as he is out of contract with Rangers in the summer.

The 19-year-old could sign a pre-contract agreement with the Throstles, but they face competition from Aston Villa and Cardiff City.

Current Sunderland ace Luke O’Nien has been touted with a move to the Black Country, with Coventry and Birmingham also interested in his services.

A new goalkeeper could be on the cards for West Brom

West Brom’s current crop of goalkeepers have failed to convince so far this season, with former boss Ryan Mason unsure on Josh Griffiths and Joe Wildsmith.

The Baggies have been linked with Remy Descamps from French club Lyon, with Hull City also eyeing the 29-year-old.

Another option is FC Juarez stopper Sebastian Jurado, who looks set to leave the Mexican outfit in the summer.

However, sources close to the 28-year-old have claimed that the goalkeeper has no idea of the supposed interest from the West Midlands club.

Could Ramsay get an attacking addition?

The only attacker to be linked with a move to the Throstles this month is Amario Cozier-Duberry.

The 20-year-old is currently on loan at Bolton Wanderers from Premier League outfit Brighton, but the Seagulls could seek a higher level of football for their young star.

Sheffield United, Preston, and Bristol City also reportedly want to take over Cozier-Duberry’s loan so a deal would not be simple.
