West Brom fans will despise what Karlan Grant has done as transfer announced

Karlan Grant has come under mixed reviews at West Brom this campaign.

Grant was a star last season at West Brom, becoming a surprise key player after his loan spell at Cardiff City.

His season certainly slowed down after Carlos Corberan departed West Brom for Valencia, but it was a large improvement on previous years.

Things have been a struggle for Grant at West Brom this season, with supporters growing increasingly frustrated with his performances.

That won’t be helped by what Grant has now done on social media, as a transfer was confirmed away from The Hawthorns.

Grant has struggled under Eric Ramsay at West Brom so far, with his fitness representing a concern for the new head coach.

The Englishman has featured in all three of Ramsay’s games so far, but was only available to feature for eight minutes against Derby County.

That lack of availability at Pride Park hasn’t halted the forward from being active on social media, with his antics unlikely to go down well with the Baggies faithful.

Grant was active on social media on Tuesday as the forward liked a post from Aston Villa confirming the signing of Tammy Abraham.

The Albion man was joined by Birmingham City winger Demarai Gray to like the post in behaviour that is unlikely to go down well with supporters.

West Brom fans don’t have fond memories of Tammy Abraham

Abraham has returned to Villa Park, re-joining the Villans seven years after his initial loan spell from Chelsea in 2019.

The Englishman played a part as Dean Smith’s side were promoted via the play-offs, not that West Brom fans will want to remember that.

The Englishman netted in the first-leg of the play-offs in B6, scoring the winner from the penalty spot to give Villa a 2-1 win.

He then went on to score the winning penalty in the shootout after a West Brom win in the second leg to book a place in the final against Derby County.

The fact that Abraham left such a dent on the Baggies, but is being backed by Grant on social media, is something that fans are bound to despise.
