Hindolo Mustapha told he’s ‘in for a shock’ after first comments as West Brom player

Hindolo Mustapha completed a deadline day move from Crystal Palace to West Brom.

Mustapha emerged as a late target for West Brom as Eric Ramsay looked to add to his squad before the window came to an end.

The 19-year-old joined Aston Villa talent Jamaldeen Jimoh-Aloba through the doors at West Brom as a double loan swoop was agreed.

The pair can only help matters at The Hawthorns with West Brom’s 3-0 loss to Portsmouth sparking toxic scenes in the away end.

Mustapha has now spoken out after his Black Country move was agreed, but he’s been sent a blunt warning from supporters.

West Brom fans send warning to Hindolo Mustapha

Ramsay is coming under pressure at West Brom after a hugely disappointing start to his tenure in charge of the Baggies.

He will hope that his new signings can make a difference, although Danny Imray and Max O’Leary haven’t given fans much hope.

Jimoh-Aloba and Mustapha could be different, with the latter explaining what sort of player he is to the Baggies faithful.

He said: “As a player, I would say I’m fast, strong and creative on the ball. I just want to get on the front foot and make things happen in the final third.

Those comments should excite the Albion faithful, but it has instead sparked supporters to slam the head coach and warn the Crystal Palace loanee.

One supporter said, “He’s in for a shock,” while another added, “Good luck playing Ramsay then.”

A fan has seriously taken a swipe at the West Brom boss, suggesting the new signing won’t be able to play the way he wants under his management.

They said: “Shame he won’t get the ball as we just aimlessly hoof it up the pitch, hoping Heggebo will get half a touch on it.

One replied directly to Mustapha’s comment about being “creative on the ball”, sharing a gif that reads, “We don’t do that here”.

It is safe to say what The Hawthorns faithful make of Ramsay and his tactical approach since coming in from Minnesota United.

Mustapha must prove himself to Eric Ramsay

There are concerns that the Palace youngster won’t be able to play how he wants to in B71, but that is assuming he gets a fair share of minutes.

Some supporters assume that his gametime will be limited, with one suggesting that “The manager probably won’t play him as he won’t play youngsters without experience.

This was echoed by another who suggested it is “a shame he won’t play much” after his loan deal was completed from Selhurst Park.

Hopefully, for Mustapha, he will get a fair shot at featuring for the Baggies if he is good enough, but he really can’t be much worse than what’s out there at the minute.
