Eric Ramsay makes pivotal Isaac Price decision in four changes – West Brom predicted XI vs Coventry City
Eric Ramsay faces arguably his biggest tough yet as West Brom boss with the Baggies set to take on Coventry City on Saturday.
Albion hosts Frank Lampard’s top-of-the-table side in a Championship showdown that presents immense importance for both sides.
West Brom are being dragged into a relegation fight under Ramsay, and now sit just two points off the drop zone in 21st position.
The Baggies are winless in seven, and Coventry will be coming to The Hawthorns full of confidence after comfortably beating Middlesbrough 3-1 on Monday to regain their spot at the top.
Ramsay is searching for his first win in charge of Albion, and Isaac Price could be among the players who are swapped out to take on the Sky Blues.

Eric Ramsay drops Isaac Price and three others from Birmingham City game
The Baggies were sent crashing out of their fourth-round FA Cup clash against Norwich City last weekend, as Ramsay had the chance to see some different players make a statement.
The 3-1 loss came with very few positives, but Josh Maja’s goal was one of them. The striker has been struggling with fitness issues, but could now be tested up top with Aune Heggebo to take on Coventry.
In West Brom’s last Championship fixture against Birmingham, Price played up top next to Heggebo, but Ramsay may opt for a more direct style against Coventry, which would suit a striker pairing.
Mikey Johnston is also in line to replace Jed Wallace from the squad that faced Birmingham, with Danny Imray also very likely to be dropped for Alfie Gilchrist, who managed 90 minutes against the Canaries.

Josh Griffiths’ injury prompts Max O’Leary to keep his spot in the starting eleven, while Ousmane Diakite’s performance against Norwich demands a place in the team over Jayson Molumby, who started last time in the league.

Coventry City have a clear leak; West Brom can exploit it
Coventry will now want to return to promotion-winning form, as their last 10 games or so have not been good enough.
West Brom have their own problems to worry about, but fear of the opponent should not be on the Baggies’ minds heading into this one.

As seen above, Lampard’s men have shipped 14 goals in their last 10 games in all competitions, showing that they concede at a rate of at least one goal per game.
What’s getting them out of their defensive issues is their goal-scoring threat, but as seen in individual games, Albion are capable of staying solid under Ramsay, or it can be the polar opposite.
If West Brom are switched on, then there’s no reason why they can’t achieve the biggest upset of the weekend, and gain momentum heading into what is a vital stretch of fixtures.
