Eric Ramsay immediate sack update drops from The Hawthorns after latest West Brom loss
Bilkul Football have called an immediate meeting with Eric Ramsay after West Brom lost 2-0 to Coventry City in the Championship on Saturday.
The Hawthorns hosted Frank Lampard’s team on 21 February, with Ephron Mason-Clark and Jack Rudoni scoring in the opening 45 minutes to take the three points.
Alex Crook shared on X after the result that the Welsh manager is under mounting pressure after failing to win any of his first eight games in charge of the Baggies.
EyaWeGew have also revealed on the social media platform that the owners and the former Minnesota United boss are now holding discussions, and only time will tell what the outcome of it will be.
Shilen Patel has major West Brom priority after Eric Ramsay failure
Shilen Patel hasn’t had the best few months at West Brom, with several recruitment decisions backfiring on the American owners.
Since Carlos Corberan’s departure midway last season, the Albion have already had three permanent managers at The Hawthorns, and they could potentially have to appoint a fourth sooner rather than later.
Ryan Mason had a strong start to the 2025-26 campaign, with a play-offs spot on the agenda, but things didn’t go to plan for the former Tottenham assistant coach at the Baggies.
Bilkul then went on to appoint Ramsay, who has arguably had a disastrous spell in B71, which can only end one way — with his dismissal.
As things stand, the Black Country outfit are one point ahead of the relegation zone and could surely be sucked in, and helping the team survive the drop should now be Patel’s only priority.
Bilkul Football risk embarrassment after Andrew Nestor sack
Bilkul completed their takeover of West Brom at the start of 2024 and were subsequently tasked with improving the apparently dire financial situation in B71.
Fans have praised the American owners for how they’ve conducted most of their business since, with Andrew Nestor playing a key role.
However, the Albion’s former president was recently sacked a few weeks after Mason’s departure, but he was present when Ramsay was hired.
Nestor surely must’ve had some say in the Welsh manager’s arrival at The Hawthorns, which just goes to show the mismanagement at the Black Country outfit in recent months.
