Eseosa Sule could be next West Brom youngster to break through after Under-21 scenes
Eseosa Sule may be the next West Brom youth product to break into the first-team picture.
Interim West Brom boss James Morrison has shown that he is not afraid to put his faith in youth, as he replaced Mikey Johnston with Ollie Bostock last time out.
The 19-year-old repaid the former Scotland international’s faith with a consolation goal in the 2-1 defeat to Oxford United on 28 February.
Now, Sule could be the next man up after his latest showing in The Hawthorns side’s academy ranks.

What did Sule do for West Brom Under-21s?
Sule scored a brace in the Under-21s 4-2 Premier League 2 win over Derby County on 2 March.
He levelled the game after the visitors had taken the lead, finishing from a cutback from Torin Ntege on the stroke of half-time.
Then he notched the fourth of the game for the Baggies to put the game beyond doubt, tapping home from Souleyman Mandey’s cross after the Austrian had broken away.
Why does Sule deserve first-team berth?
Sule has been unfortunate so far in his senior career, spending 20 league games on loan with Motherwell in Scotland, but not making a single appearance due to injury.
He did play three times in the cup, for a total of 121 minutes, but the loan spell definitely did not work out for the 19-year-old.
He was recalled by Albion in January and has been in fine form in the academy ranks, notching three goals in five Premier League 2 matches.
That takes his overall record for the Black Country side’s Under-21s to 15 goals and three assists in 50 matches.
He has also notched nine goals and one assist in 25 matches with the Under-18s and made his senior debut for the Throstles in the 2-1 Carabao Cup first-round loss to Fleetwood Town in August 2024.
He has not made another appearance, though, under Ryan Mason or Eric Ramsay, but that could be set to change under Morrison.
The Scottish forward is a direct and pacey forward, who has shown strong finishing skills and high athleticism, which is exactly what the side needs at the moment if they are to escape relegation before the end of the campaign.
