West Brom will feel unfortunate they did not secure all three points against Southampton, as the Saints netted late to bring the game to a 1-1 draw.
Overall, James Morrison’s men battled well, and in truth, they probably deserved more than the one point they got in the end at the Hawthorns.
The interim manager will be happy he was able to get a tune out of a group of players that have largely looked inadequate in the battle for survival.
Daryl Dike is now one of those men who has seemingly redeemed himself in the eyes of the Baggies faithful following his display on Wednesday night.

As a corner was whipped in, Dike looked determined to make something happen. After one failed headed effort, he quickly reacted to try to steer another on goal.
In the end, that second go at the ball would result in the Baggies taking the lead as Jayson Molumby poked it home.
That moment epitomised the fight Dike showed throughout the game, and his effort is not going unnoticed by fans.
