West Brom fans make Danny Imray transfer appeal after win vs Hull City – ‘Cafu’

Danny Imray had a sensational evening as West Brom beat Hull City 3-0 in the Championship on Saturday.

The right-back was handed his third straight start in the league on 14 March as James Morrison looked for his first win in charge of the Baggies.

Having signed for the Albion on loan from Crystal Palace in the winter transfer window, the 22-year-old was arguably the best player on the pitch in the opening 45 minutes.

Hull haven’t had much luck at The Hawthorns, extending their winless run in B71 to 10 league games, as the Black Country outfit climb out of the relegation zone.

Danny Imray permanent transfer wanted at West Brom

Some West Brom fans want to see their club sign Imray permanently from Palace in the summer.

Baggies supporters on X want to see the Albion find an agreement with the Eagles after a wonderful first-half performance from the right-back, who capped it off with an assist as Isaac Price scored the third goal of the game in the 94th minute.

The robust defender was all over Hull’s backline in the opening 45 minutes at The Hawthorns as he created multiple opportunities for the Black Country outfit.

Morrison seems to have brought out the best in the Englishman, with one fan comparing him to Brazilian legend, saying, β€œDanny Imray or Cafu, I actually can’t tell the difference.”

One Baggies fan is wary of falling in love with a loan player, while others have been proven wrong after criticising him in the past.

The right-back will certainly be pivotal in helping Morrison avoid relegation this season if he continues to put in similar displays for the remaining eight games.

The 31-year-old was also perfect defensively, winning one tackle, one aerial duel and all three of his ground duels.

Morrison has brought hope back to The Hawthorns and Wallace could potentially be key to the Baggies’ prospects in the Championship.
