West Brom: Relegation battle made clearer as damning footage emerges at Leicester City
West Brom and Leicester City are both battling to remain in the Championship this season.
The Baggies have had a shocking campaign to this point and now find themselves with eight games left to save their skins.
That has been largely down to failings under both Ryan Mason and Eric Ramsay, with confidence dropping through the floor in B71.
Things are now looking up at The Hawthorns after a massive 3-0 win against Hull City last time around.
James Morrison and Co. can now expect to avoid the drop, especially with the latest goings on at Leicester City.
Stephy Mavididi makes Leicester City look amateurish
The Foxes would be clear of the bottom three if it weren’t for their points deduction, but that should be motivation enough for their stars.
That clearly isn’t the case as Gary Rowett’s side currently sit 23rd in the Championship, having lost nine games since the turn of the year.
Just two second-tier wins in that time certainly hasn’t helped matters and could soon leave the Foxes playing League One football.
West Brom will hope that their poor form continues to help their survival chances, and that looks increasingly likely.
It doesn’t look as if Leicester are up for the fight, summed up by Stephy Mavididi yawning on the pitch ahead of the weekend’s defeat against QPR.
The Englishman has scored just two goals in 34 appearances this season and is now showing amateurish signs that won’t help him in the relegation battle.
If that doesn’t sum up everything wrong at the King Power, I’m not sure what does.
West Brom must capitalise on Leicester’s failings
Leicester fans will watch that footage of Mavididi and fume knowing just how much of a mess their side is in right now.
That certainly won’t help improve an atmosphere in the East Midlands that is already growing increasingly toxic.
The 2015/16 Premier League champions could be on their way to the third tier, and the Baggies need to be ready to pounce on that.

Mavididi is yawning and tired of everything going on at Leicester, which is the exact sort of news that will be music to fans’ ears at The Hawthorns.
It was the complete opposite against Hull, with every Baggies player fighting for the badge.
If Morrison can continue to get points on the board, his side should be able to move clear of the Foxes with time to spare this campaign.
