Wrexham stars may return for West Brom showdown as early injury news drops
Phil Parkinson is “hopeful” that one or two sidelined Wrexham players will be back to face West Brom.
West Brom climbed out of the Championship relegation zone after hammering 10-man Hull City 3-0 at The Hawthorns on Saturday.
Goals from Josh Maja, Aune Heggebo, and Isaac Price earned the Midlands outfit their first win in the league since 29 December, as they went one point clear of 22nd-placed Oxford United.
After creditable draws with Sheffield United and Southampton, James Morrison‘s West Brom may be mounting a bid for safety at just the right time.
Next up is a trip to Bristol City on Saturday, before hosting play-off chasing Wrexham after the international break ends.
Now, Parkinson has issued an update on his squad before heading to the Baggies on April 3.

Wrexham face injury woes ahead of West Brom
Last week, Parkinson said Wrexham have been looking at the free agent market due to their injury list. Currently, the Welsh team are without Kieffer Moore, Liberato Cacace, and Matty James, while George Dobson is suspended.
Ben Sheaf is expected to miss the rest of the season, but Welsh international Moore and James, and to a lesser extent Cacace, may be back in the coming games.
Parkinson told BBC Sport: “Kieffer’s not going to be right for the internationals, which is a blow for him and for Wales.
“He’s got this tendon injury, which he feels OK with, but he’s shown up on the scan, and it’s one of those injuries that, up to 80-85% you’re fine, but if you extend beyond that, you make yourself susceptible to muscle injuries.”

For West Brom, they are currently without striker Karlan Grant and winger Mikey Johnston, while defender Chris Mepham and Tammer Bany have also been out.
Moore has scored 11 goals in the Championship this season, so if he misses the West Brom game, that may be a boost for the Baggies. But right now, they’ve got to focus on beating Bristol City.
West Brom face anxious wait over Max O’Leary
In January, West Brom signed goalkeeper Max O’Leary from Bristol City on a deal until the end of the season.
So far, the former Robins star has been a fairly safe pair of hands for the Baggies, but he may be set for a spell on the sidelines.
That is because he came off in the 66th minute against Hull after being caught by the Tigers’ John Egan, with backup stopper Josh Griffiths replacing him.

The 24-year-old didn’t have a great deal to do, which is just as well, as Griffiths has had a poor season. If he does have to start in goal against City, that may worry West Brom fans.
Griffiths has registered a save percentage of just 60 per cent, and he’s also prevented -7.46 goals. If the young keeper is called upon, he needs to be ready; otherwise, relegation could beckon.
