Karlan Grant: Everything we know about contract situation amid West Brom injury recovery
Karlan Grant has been absent from West Brom since early January due to injury.
The winger had been a regular starter for the Baggies in the opening stages of the season before being forced off against Derby County.
He lasted just eight minutes at Pride Park and then his season came to an unexpected halt as a hamstring problem left him watching from the sidelines.
The attacker hasn’t been seen since, and things have only gone from bad to worse at The Hawthorns.
Grant has previously been linked with a move away, and his injury may not help matters, as West Brom News now rounds up what we know about his current contract in B71.
What is Karlan Grant’s contract situation at West Brom?
James Morrison and Co. are in desperate need of any sort of boost moving into the final stages of the Championship campaign.
That could soon come in the shape of the versatile forward who looks to be on his way back from his long-term hamstring injury layoff.

He is playing for his future in the Black Country, regardless of what league Albion are playing in next season.
That comes due to his contract expiry being just months away, with the summer of 2026 marking the end of his current deal in B71.
The terms of his £15million move from Huddersfield Town are still intact and are only just coming towards their final months six years later.

Reports suggest that he is earning a figure in the region of £20,000 per week at The Hawthorns, a fee which equates to around £1m a year.
That will only add to the uncertainty surrounding his future, especially as he awaits his return to full fitness.
Grant shares training image after hamstring injury lay off
There is no doubt that the Englishman has been a miss in recent months, despite a frustrating start to the season in B71.
He only scored three Championship goals before his injury, but proved with his nine goal involvements last season that there is a player there.
Fans will be pleased to see Grant back in training, especially after he shared a story to his Instagram of him in training with the caption, “Working”.

There will now be hope that his work to get back to full fitness will be worth everybody’s time and can inspire the Baggies away from the bottom three.
