West Brom honours
West Brom are among the most historic football clubs in England but have failed to win any major silverware since beating Everton in the FA Cup final at Wembley in 1968. Albion have won nine major titles in their history, ranking them as the joint-15th most successful club in English football.
Total victories | Year(s) won | |
First Division | 1 | 1919/20 |
FA Cup | 5 | 1987/88, 1891/92, 1930/31, 1953/54, 1967/68 |
Football League Cup | 1 | 1965/66 |
FA Charity Shield | 2 | 1920, 1954 (shared with Wolves) |
West Brom’s last trophy win came in the 2007/08 season when Tony Mowbray, in his first stint at The Hawthorns, led the Baggies to winning the Championship title, scoring 88 goals in the process.

West Brom home stadium
West Brom moved into The Hawthorns in 1900 and have called it home ever since. It was the first Football League ground to be built in the 20th Century and is famous for having the highest altitude (551 feet) of all the stadiums in England’s top four divisions.
Albion’s first match at The Hawthorns was a 1-1 draw with Derby County in September 1900. Derby’s Steve Bloomer was the first to score a goal there with Chippy Simmons being the first Baggies man to get on the scoresheet at the Black Country stadium.
- First Ground: Cooper’s Hill
- Second Ground: Dartmouth Park
- Third Ground: Bunn’s Field
- Fourth Ground: Four Acres
- Fifth Ground: Stoney Lane
The Hawthorns’ capacity is 26,804 and that won’t change when 3,864 safe-standing positions are installed at B71 ahead of the 2025/26 season.
