Torino boss Ivan Juric is firmly on the radar of Shilen Patel should the new West Brom owner look to replace Carlos Corberan after taking over at The Hawthorns, according to The Sun.

The newspaper shared via its website on 18 February that the new owner could turn to Juric to spearhead his West Brom revolution after agreeing to purchase a majority stake in the club.

It was also said that there are genuine fears the new owner wants to stamp his mark on the club shortly after his arrival by letting Corberan go in favour of bringing in his own man.

Could Shilen Patel sack Carlos Corberan after his West Brom takeover?

As shared in The Sun report, Patel removing Corberan from his position shortly after arriving at the club would be a controversial call to make and is unlikely to be one that goes down well with the Baggies' support.

The relationship Corberan has built with the fans during his spell in charge of the club, standing alongside them with constant communication amid the uncertainty behind the scenes, he has remained a constant during a spell of worry among the fans.

With Albion currently in the playoff places despite a turbulent season off the field, the boss has received widespread praise for his management, and to replace him at this stage would be madness.

Carlos Corberan has been widely praised for the job he's done at West Brom.

Regardless of the credentials Juric may have from his time at Torino, he does not represent the proven success the Spaniard has shown at The Hawthorns.

Just look at how fans reacted in the summer when concerns emerged that the boss might leave to join Leeds, and you can gauge how the reaction might be should this move be made.
