West Brom are set to take on QPR on Saturday as they travel to the MATRADE Loftus Road Stadium looking to secure back-to-back Championship wins.

The Baggies managed to stage a brilliant comeback against Swansea City last time out, winning 3-2 at The Hawthorns despite being 2-0 down at half-time.

Now, with QPR up next, the Baggies boss has already suffered a blow ahead of the tie.

West Brom set to be without three players against QPR

Going into the match, the Baggies are guaranteed to be without Nat Phillips.

The centre-back picked up his fifth yellow card of the season on the weekend, and will now serve a one-match suspension.

On top of this, Toby Collyer is expected to miss the tie as he recovers from a muscle injury, while Jed Wallace remains sidelined for West Brom.

However, Wallace is on the mend and could soon return for the Baggies in the new year.

For QPR, the hosts are without numerous players for the clash

The manager, Julien Stephan, confirmed to Jon Harland via X on 4 December that four players are unavailable.

These include Sam Field, Ben Hamer, Rayan Kolli and Harvey Vale.

West Brom looking to continue insane record vs QPR

In recent years, West Brom have boasted an excellent record against QPR.

The Baggies have only lost one of their last 12 matches against the London side.

However, their one recent defeat was at their ground, with QPR overcoming West Brom 1-0 back in January 2022.

Overall, this may give Mason confidence that he can fix West Brom's terrible away form on Saturday at QPR.

A victory could put their playoff hopes back on track. However, another defeat will see pressure piled on Mason once again.
