
James Morrison steps up for West Brom again
James Morrison gave over a decade of service to West Brom during his playing career, becoming a modern-day Baggies legend. Since then, he has been part of Albion’s coaching team, and is currently in his third spell as interim boss following the dire tenure of Eric Ramsay. When West Brom have needed him, Morrison has consistently stepped up, and right now he is tasked with ensuring survival in the Championship.
James Morrison’s West Brom playing career
Morrison has still only managed a handful of games for the Baggies with this his third spell as interim manager. But as a player, he made 341 appearances in total for Albion, twice winning promotion to the Premier League in over a decade of service.
James Morrison career achievements:
Morrison twice earned promotion out of the second tier with West Brom, winning the Championship in 2007-08, and part of the side that finished as runners-up in 2009-10. During his time at Middlesbrough, he was also a UEFA Cup runner-up.
