BBC Sport: Seven players set to miss West Brom v Leeds

West Brom will be without the suspended Jake Livermore and the injured trio of Hal Robson-Kanu, Kyle Bartley and Conor Townsend when they play Leeds United on Tuesday, according to BBC Sport.

The broadcaster reports that Leeds also have injury concerns ahead of their trip to The Hawthorns with Diego Llorente, Robin Koch and Liam Cooper all set to be ruled out.

Marcelo Bielsa started youngster Pascal Struijk, right-back Luke Ayling and midfielder Kalvin Phillips as a back-three when Leeds beat Burnley 1-0 on Sunday due to the centre-back injury crisis at Elland Road.

Leeds injury crisis no issue for Bielsa

Leeds' manager is a manager who knows how to dig his team out of trouble when he's faced with an injury crisis like this.

All three of the club's senior centre-backs missed the game against Burnley on Sunday yet the Whites managed to keep a clean sheet and win 1-0, even though they have conceded 13 goals in their four games prior.

Bielsa has quite a small squad at his disposal at Elland Road but he has a bunch of players who are very versatile. It wasn't the first like Ayling and Phillips played as centre-backs and Struijk has started to impress since being promoted from their Under-23s.

With Cooper, Koch and Llorente set to miss out against West Brom, we'd expect Bielsa to start a similar back-line at The Hawthorns this week but that doesn't mean Albion can't get a goal or two against the makeshift Leeds defence.

Leeds' weakness at set-pieces has been widely publicised and with Matheus Pereira available for Albion again, there's every chance Sam Allardyce will look to exploit any corners and free-kicks they win on Tuesday night.
