Many West Brom fans troll Brighton over tweet about Albion
West Brom fans have been trolling Brighton on Twitter after the south coast club told their supporters to name their "first Albion hero".
The Baggies have always been the original Albion with the club being the first in English football to use that suffix in their name when they changed from West Bromwich Strollers to West Bromwich Albion in 1880.
Brighton & Hove Albion were founded 21 years later after the Baggies had turned professional, founded the Football League and won two FA Cups.
In May, Brighton were ridiculed online after a reported by the Telegraph emerged to say that the south coast club wanted to trademark the word ‘Albion’ and hoped that West Brom and Burton would join forces with them.
Brighton are now being ridiculed by Albion fans again on Twitter due to their latest tweet and here is what some of them had to say:

It is great to reel through those tweets and seeing names like Cyrille Regis, Bob Taylor, Derek Statham, Richard Sneekes, Peter Odemwingie and Chris Brunt cropping up.
West Brom supporters are proud of having one of the most unique suffixes in English football and regularly call themselves Albion just as much - perhaps even more - as the Baggies.
Brighton need to remember that there's only one Albion.
