Matheus Pereira reacts as West Brom announce arrival
Matheus Pereira is still keeping in touch with all things West Brom.
The Brazilian departed The Hawthorns four years ago after a successful two-year spell with the Baggies, where he notched 20 goals and 26 assists.
The 28-year-old got 17 of those contributions in the Premier League and earned a move to Saudi Arabia with Al-Hilal as a result.
He has struggled to replicate his wonderful Albion form and has returned to Brazil with Cruziero but still follows the Black Country club.
Pereira reacts to Ryan Mason appointment at West Brom
Mason has been appointed as the new head coach in the West Midlands after departing his coaching role at Tottenham.
The Baggies took to Instagram to confirm the news on Monday, saying: "We’re delighted to announce the appointment of Ryan Mason as our new men’s first team Head Coach."
Pereira liked the post, as he regularly does on social media.
Mason has huge task at West Brom
Mason has an unenviable job on his hands in his new role, he is tasked with taking the Throstles back into the Premier League after a four-year absence.
The likes of Valerian Ismael, Carlos Corberan and Tony Mowbray, who had significantly more experience than the ex-Spurs coach, have failed at that ambition in the past few seasons.

Mason will hope to use his connections to Spurs to bring in talented youngsters like Jamie Donley, Mikey Moore and Will Lankshear, but that alone will not be enough to secure promotion.
Shilen Patel and Co need to back him in the transfer market, otherwise it could be back to square one after a few months if he fails to hit the ground running.
It is an exciting appointment, the former Hull City player will bring a new tactical approach, having honed his skills under top managers like Jose Mourinho and Ange Postecoglou.
He is a bold, progressive choice that will bring a dynamic, attacking style of football that should get supporters back on board after a miserable finish to the campaign under Mowbray left them disillusioned.
However, he needs help from the ownership, but if they get it right, it could be a very good time to be a Baggies fan.
