West Brom's 2026-2027 season has been predicted by the Opta supercomputer.

James Morrison's side will be aiming to improve on last season's finish, where they ended just outside the relegation zone.

It was a massive underperformance from the Midlands side both under Ryan Mason and Eric Ramsay.

Transfer business at The Hawthorns has been heating up with many new faces among the Baggies' squad.

And expectations will certainly be tempered following what happened in 2025-2026, but here are the Supercomputer's current projections.

Where have West Brom been predicted to finish?

West Brom fans could be in for a thrilling season with plenty for them to play for.

Excitement is already building under Morrison, with the former Scotland international bringing a much-needed breath of fresh air to The Hawthorns.

As per Opta Analyst's supercomputer, Morrison's side are predicted to finish in 13th place with an expected points tally of 62.59

However, the margin to those coveted promotion places is not far off either.

In the 2026-2027 season, the play-offs have been expanded with seventh and eight providing entry into the end-of-season tournament.

Sheffield United are projected for eight place with a tally of 65.81 points - just a 3.22 difference to West Brom.

But the Baggies are also just 8.76 expected points away from Charlton, who are predicted for 22nd.

What are the promotion and relegation chances for West Brom?

We know the position and the points tally, but what are the odds for West Brom's chances on either end of the table?

Fans will of course temper expectations, but for those dreaming of winning the Championship, the Baggies have been handed a 2.4 per cent of doing so.

Additionally, they have a 5.44 per cent chance of achieving promotion in 2026-2027 campaign.

When it comes to those coveted play-off spots, they have favourable odds with a 25.14 per cent chance.

And supporters will certainly be glad to know that finishing in the top eight is deemed more likely than relegation.

West Brom being sent down to League One has been given a 9.66 per cent chance of happening.

After last season's predictions, this should of course be taken with a grain of salt, but it is reassuring to know that Morrison's excellent work is being translated into the Supercomputer's projections.
