Tony Brown can't believe what he saw Daryl Dike do in West Brom loss v Sunderland
West Brom's woeful form in the Championship continued as they suffered a 1-0 home defeat to Sunderland on Saturday.
The Mackems took the lead through Trai Hume on 35 minutes, and Tony Mowbray's men were never able to respond.
West Brom have now failed to win a Championship game in four attempts, while their loss to Sunderland marked their second consecutive defeat.
The Baggies also lost 1-0 at Norwich on 29 March when Josh Sargent's late effort got the better of goalkeeper Joe Wildsmith.
Tony Brown shocked by Daryl Dike miss
Second-half substitute Daryl Dike missed a key opportunity to equalise for West Brom in the dying embers of their defeat to Sunderland, heading the ball over the crossbar.

Albion legend Tony Brown said on BBC Radio WM on Saturday afternoon (5 April): "He just couldn't keep it down, you're saying 'go on plant it' six yards out.
"He's come across, great play from (Tom) Fellows, just of the top of his head, just couldn't keep it down, direct it down.
"Dismay from him, his head's down, he knows that was a chance."
Dike's move to West Brom has not been a success
Since joining West Brom from Major League Soccer outfit Orlando back in January 2022, Dike has made just 38 appearances, notching eight goals in the process amid injury struggles.
After arriving in the West Midlands over three years ago, Dike has suffered serious problems with both his Achilles tendons and was not able to make a single appearance this season until 15 February, when Mowbray's men drew 1-1 at Millwall.
Unfortunately, the striker's Baggies career has been defined by the lack of appearances he has been able to make for the Hawthorns side.
The USA international showed glimpses of the quality he can provide when he scored seven goals in 25 West Brom appearances in the 2022/23 season.
Mowbray and Co will still hope that Dike can help them turn around their increasingly faltering playoff push, but the former Orlando man will be disappointed to have missed a golden opportunity in a key clash with fellow top-six chasers Sunderland.
