Arsenal defender William Saliba has sent West Brom midfielder Yann M'Vila a one-word message following the Baggies' comeback draw against Watford.

M'Vila joined West Brom as a free agent in February and made his second appearance for his new club against the Hornets, coming off the bench to help Carlos Corberan's men fight back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2.

And Saliba praised his fellow Frenchman with a one-word post on social media that simply read: "Maestro".

Yann M'Vila showing flashes of his undeniable ability

Yann M'Vila's career is perhaps curiously most defined by the transfer he never made - despite persistent links with Arsenal, the midfielder never joined the Premier League giants.

However, his journeyman CV includes spells at Rennes, Saint-Etienne, Olympiacos, Rubin Kazan, Sunderland - and even a brief loan at Inter.

The 33-year-old boasts a wealth of experience and has demonstrated his undeniable quality in flashes across his two substitute appearances for the Baggies.

He was part of a midfield triple-substitution after Watford's second goal and deserves his share of the credit for the team's spirited fightback - even if Grady Diangana's pair of assists rightly stole the headlines.

If M'Vila can become a consistent performer for West Brom, he has the potential to raise the Baggies' level as they hunt down a return to the Premier League.
