Isaac Price could be West Bromwich Albion's talisman next season more than he ever has been before.

The Baggies will be looking to right the wrongs of last season, where they were on the brink of Championship relegation.

James Morrison's display as interim head coach brought positivity back to The Hawthorns, and after getting the full-time gig, that renewed hope will not fade ahead of next season.

The B71 outfit is not blessed financially, but that does not mean they do not already have talismanic figures such as Price to push them on.

The Northern Irish international has routinely been widely acclaimed for the Midlands side.

However, he may be looked upon more than he ever has in the Championship based on this new reveal.

What new reveal has emerged about Isaac Price?

Price's reputation continues to build in the Championship and that much is evident by his rise in value.

According to the CIES Football Observatory, Price has seen an increase in his estimated transfer value since the last update.

Previously, the scientific algorithm had the midfielder listed to be worth between £9.5million and £11.2million.

However, now, as of the 16 June update he is worth between £11.2m and £12.9million.

Additionally, among each Championship side's most valued player, Price has also seen a rise in his ranking.

Beforehand, he was featured in ninth place, but has since risen up to seventh.

West Brom, while likely being delighted by that reveal, will not want to lose Price anytime soon.

However, with links to the Premier League, the Baggies do face a tough task of keeping him in the Midlands.

But, at least they could receive a higher fee now than they would have a few weeks back.

Why pressure will build on Price at West Brom

If Price does remain in B71, the pressure of being one of the main stars in the Championship will be a challenge he must overcome.

It is certainly not an easy mantle to take, and with expectations for the Baggies to move away from the relegation fight, he will need to have plenty of influence.

Last campaign, the 22-year-old was involved in 11 goals (nine goals and two assist) but with a more positive vibe under Morrison, he will look to improve on that.

Hopefully, pressure can turn Price into more a shone diamond than he already is, and the West Brom faithful can have a season to remember.
