West Brom and Manchester United have agreed to play each other in two warm-up matches at Old Trafford on Friday, according to Telegraph journalist John Percy.

Writing on the Telegraph's website, Percy revealed that Man United were due to play Stoke at their Carrington training ground on Tuesday before Potters boss Michael O'Neill received news that he had tested positive for coronavirus.

Man United scrapped the match as a result and will now play the Baggies twice this week as Slaven Bilic's men prepare to resume their bid to win promotion from the Championship on June 20.

Albion have already played one warm-up match since the EFL gave them the green light to continue with full-contact training.

On Saturday, the Baggies drew 2-2 with Aston Villa at Villa Park with Kamil Grosicki and Filip Krovinovic both getting on the scoresheet.

Man United will be a much tougher test for West Brom but the Red Devils are yet to play anyone other than themselves in their preparations for the season restarting next week.

Although the games will mean nothing, it would be great if the Baggies can win at least once against the Premier League club, who are at full strength now that Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford have recovered from their injuries.
