Jed Wallace has sent Okay Yokuslu a two-word message after West Brom claimed a 4-1 victory over Huddersfield on Sunday (10 March).

The 29-year-old completed 75 minutes against the Terriers as the Baggies completed a thrilling comeback after Delano Burgzorg opened the scoring at the John Smith's Stadium.

Mikey Johnston cancelled out Huddersfield's first-half goal before Kyle Bartley headed home to turn the clash on its head, with Yokuslu netting a rocket and Johnston grabbing his brace.

Reacting to Yokuslu's goal via X on Sunday (10 March), he wrote: "Turkish hammer," with heart eyes and clapping emojis.

West Brom claim vital win over Huddersfield Town

Having gone behind in the match, West Brom fans will have been nervous about the prospect of dropping out of the Championship play-off spots.

However, with the second-half comeback, triggered by the brilliant Johnston on loan from Celtic, the Baggies remain five points ahead of Norwich City and Hull City.

Though they have closed the gap on Southampton to 10 points, fans will need to settle for a playoff spot if they are to achieve promotion to the Premier League this season.

With Carlos Corberan in charge and the boost of Shilen Patel's takeover at The Hawthorns, West Brom have every chance of pipping their rivals to promotion, especially if Yokuslu can chip in with more of those efforts.

It was the Turkey international's fifth goal in Baggies colours, and his first in the Championship since last season. Huddersfield were completely out of sight after the ball smashed the back of the net.
