West Brom and Stoke City should see their Championship clash on Saturday go ahead after the latest update from the Met Office.
An update was shared by the UK's national weather service early on Thursday morning (16 January) anticipating fog to persist across the West Midlands.
The was only put in place until 11am on Thursday with temperatures of up to 4 degrees and Sunny Intervals now forecast at The Hawthorns [Met Office, 17 January].
This should see the Baggies' clash against Stoke go ahead as planned after periods of extreme cold weather disrupted the football calendar in England and Wales in recent days and weeks.

Despite the persistent fog that appears to be settling in the Midlands, Albion should be able to kick off their clash against the Potters.
There doesn't appear to be any reason now for the game to be called off with the weather looking surprisingly clear given the forecasts since the turn of the year.
This will be a boost for Chris Brunt and his interim coaching staff who look set to take charge of their final game before the potential appointment of Tony Mowbray.
If the clash in B71 was called off on Saturday, there would be no chance for the ex-Sunderland boss to assess his new side or for the temporary head coach to say goodbye.
