West Brom's top five Black Country Derby heroes vs Wolves in the 21st Century
West Bromwich Albion head to Molineux on Sunday to play the first Black Country Derby against Wolverhampton Wanderers in the league in over five years.
Last time the two sides met, Wolves came out on top, winning 2-0 at The Hawthorns in the FA Cup fourth round in January 2024.
Before that game, West Brom had lost just three out of the last 23 meetings with their bitter local rivals.
Going into their match at Molineux this weekend, James Morrison has the Baggies in fine form and three points ahead of Wolves in the Championship table.
Cesar Peixoto's men have a Carabao Cup meeting at Everton on Wednesday night to contend with but after their draw with QPR on Saturday, it's all eyes on the big one for West Brom.

Carlos Vela saves West Brom's home league record vs Wolves
Carlos Vela only played eight times for West Brom during his loan spell from Arsenal in the 2010-11 season - but what an impact he had.
West Brom were on the verge of their first loss against Wolves at The Hawthorns since 1996 after a first-half goal by Jamie O'Hara.
Roy Hodgson threw Mexican talent Vela on in the 72nd minute and in the 92nd minute of the game, Morrison's shot was spilled by Wolves goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey, allowing the Arsenal loanee to pounce and score.
It didn't even result in a win but keeping that home record alive with a last-minute equaliser in front of the Smethwick End was just something else.
Matheus Pereira writes himself into West Brom history at Molineux
West Brom have scored eight goals in their last two visits to Molineux in the league, and Matheus Pereira has scored a quarter of them.
Even though Albion were utter trash in the 2020-21 season, Sam Allardyce managed to pull off a memorable 3-2 away win at Wolves in the January of that campaign.
Pereira had been the star of the show at The Hawthorns for a year and a half by that point, but he reserved his most memorable performance for the Black Country derby, keeping his nerve to score two penalties.
Even Albion's worst Premier League team in history still managed to win at Wolves, thanks to the magic Brazilian.
Diomansy Kamara puts Wolves to the sword in 2006-07
Few Championship attackers struck fear into the hearts of defences like Diomansy Kamara did in the 2006-07 season.
Although the season didn't end in promotion for the Baggies, it's well remembered for the Black Country club beating Wolves in four out of five meetings that campaign.
Kamara found the back of the net in three of the wins, scoring and assisting in 3-0 victories in both the Championship and FA Cup in October 2006 and January 2007, respectively.
The ex-Senegal international then scored a 73rd-minute winner in a 3-2 Championship play-off win at Molineux in May 2007.
Who else but Kevin Phillips?
We've already covered the legend of the 2006-07 season in the Black Country Derby, but Kevin Phillips' iconic performances against Wolves that season won't be forgotten for a long time.
After already scoring in the 3-0 FA Cup win in Wolverhampton, Super Kev scored twice in the 3-2 win at Molineux and bagged the winner in the home leg at The Hawthorns.
As Albion didn't achieve promotion that season, Phillips had more chances to add to his tally against Wolves in the 2007-08 campaign, in which he scored another match-winning goal - again at Molineux - in April 2008.
Only one player has scored more goals in the Black Country Derby this century than Phillips - and we all know who that is.
Peter Odemwingie's iconic hat-trick at Molineux
It was a toss up between Super Kev and Peter Odemwingie for the number one spot, but five goals in four appearances against Wolves - including a legendary hat-trick - puts the Nigerian forward top of the pile.
Odemwingie didn't score in his first game against Wolves but got his first taste of Black Country Derby goalscoring in a 3-1 loss at Molineux in May 2011.
In th 2011-12 season, he and Chris Brunt scored in a 2-0 win at The Hawthorns before a stunning 5-1 win away in Wolverhampton in February 2012.
Odemwingie scored in the 34th, 77th and 88th minutes to secure a famous win, which was followed by Wolves sacking Mick McCarthy and suffering back-to-back relegations from the Premier League to League One.
He didn't just shine against Wolves, Odemwingie crushed them.
