West Brom are still in the process of finding a new manager, having parted ways with Tony Mowbray towards the end of the season.

Being left in limbo following the exit of Carlos Corberan at Christmas, the West Brom owner took his time when considering his next appointment.

However, Mowbray's tenure did not go as well as hoped, with Albion falling out of the play-off places, leading to his immediate sacking.

Now, the pressure is on Patel to get the next one right, with the upcoming summer transfer window to set the tone for the season ahead.

There have been plenty of names on the list of potential candidates and now, Will Still has joined that list.

Still in frame for West Brom after Lens announcement

Patel is seemingly taking his time when it comes to a new appointment at West Brom, with sights set firmly on a play-off finish next term.

With that in mind, it comes as no surprise that the list of potential candidates for the role is constantly changing.

Furthermore, with several managers now up for grabs this summer but plenty of teams in the market, it is a busy space right now.

Still is one man who has now joined the list of potential new bosses, after announcing at a press conference on Saturday (17 May) that he is leaving Lens at the end of the season.

Still is leaving Lens

The Ligue 1 side beat Monaco 4-0 on Saturday, but the Belgian is leaving France this summer, and West Brom could be his potential destination.

That's according to BetVictor, who have listed odds of 16/1 for Still to become the new Baggies boss.

Still may be in high demand

Still may be an exciting potential appointment for West Brom, but since announcing his departure from Lens, he does seem to be linked with a number of roles according to the bookmakers.

Therefore, if other sides are seeking to gain his services this summer, it could become quite a contest regarding who gets him.

Albion certainly need to make a clear decision about which direction they want to go in with a new replacement, as Mowbray was not a continuation of the Corberan way of playing and that was clear.

While the boss will be eager to bring in new players, there is a squad already in existence which will have to be on board with the methods of someone new so across the board, everything has to match up.
