West Brom could be about to turn to Aston Villa to bring in talented midfielder George Hemmings.

Hemmings has impressed for Villa during pre-season so far, having started both friendlies against Walsall and Porto.

The 19-year-old, who made the move to Villa from Nottingham Forest in 2024, was on the scoresheet in the first of those.

Hemmings is highly thought of by Unai Emery, having handed him his Premier League debut already.

He played twice in the top flight last campaign and also featured a couple of times in Villa's successful Europa League campaign.

But there is now a possibility Hemmings could be on his way out of Villa Park, with West Brom ready to pounce.

It goes without saying James Morrison would love that type of player in his engine room.
