West Brom fans are finding it hard to believe that the club will be able to pull off a move for Brentford striker Ollie Watkins this summer.

While Henry, 23, might be the more realistic target out of the two, Albion do not seem to have much hope of signing Watkins, who scored 26 goals in 50 appearances last season for the Bees.

Aston Villa are said to be keen on the ex-Exeter striker while he is also said to be interested in reuniting with his former Brentford manager Dean Smith in the West Midlands.

Watkins' valuation of over £25million is also something that has led to a lot of West Brom fans ruling themselves out of signing the forward.

Other West Brom fans are more optimistic about Sky Sports' update with one saying that "Villa fans are twitching" over the news.

Here is what they said:

West Brom need to sign a new striker before the start of next season because we simply cannot expect to avoid relegation with Charlie Austin, Hal Robson-Kanu and Kenneth Zohore spearheading the attack.

Watkins' displays last season show that he can make it in the top-flight with Kevin Phillips telling West Brom News that the 24-year-old has all the ingredients to be a success.

However, we really don't see Watkins heading to The Hawthorns any time soon - especially for £25million or more.
