According to Sky Sports on 2 August, Orient are now in conversations with the Baggies over the possibility of getting a deal over the line for the right-back.
While details haven't been mentioned of the structure of the League One side's potential offer, all signs may point towards the Albion having to accept a loss.
The Black Country outfit signed the defender for £2million from Chelsea last summer and it's hard to see the O's, who finished 20th in the third tier of English football last season, paying anywhere near that amount.

It was clear for everyone to see that the Baggies needed several reinforcements to build competitive squad depth after losing the likes of Jed Wallace, Karlan Grant and Josh Maja from last season.
At the moment, Morrison has 20 senior players at his disposal in the first team, which is nowhere near good enough.
The Black Country club clearly need another goalkeeper, centre-back and a couple of quality wingers if they have any ambitions of challenging for a play-offs spot.
