West Brom fans not happy amid Wolves transfer latest - 'It's not fair'
West Brom's transfer activity has been quiet to say the least so far, but the same is not true at fierce rivals Wolverhampton Wanderers.
While the transfer window may not officially be open just yet, teams are still able to work on deals behind the scenes.
Albion have been linked with a few names, some more fanciful than others, but nothing looks too advanced at this stage.
On the back of relegation from the Premier League, the opposite is true up the road at Wolves.
Wolves already appear to have got a couple of impressive deals over the line ahead of the window opening.
And that has understandably got West Brom fans a tad jealous as they watch on.
Wolves close in on double deal for free agents
It was widely reported last week that Wolves are set to sign Kieran Trippier following his Newcastle United exit.
That can be considered an impressive coup given the full-back was tipped to stay in the Premier League.
And it looks as though Trippier will not be the only experienced player arriving at Molineux this summer.
Wolves are also in talks with Raul Jimenez to bring their former striker back to the Black Country.
That is arguably an even bigger deal, albeit it is not quite over the line just yet.
Albion fans reacted to the latest update on social media, with many echoing the same sentiments.
Another posted: "Think they are brilliant signings as long as they bounce back in the first 12 months... Wouldn’t wanna be stuck with two 37 year olds on massive wages."
"Two good signings," another posted. "And no doubt more will follow. Will be some league next season."
What about West Brom's owner transfer business?
As previously mentioned, transfer talk has been pretty thin on the ground so far from Albion's perspective.
Bamba Dieng, Barney Stewart and Leon King are names that have been mentioned.
None of those will get West Brom fans all that excited, however.
There has been far more talk of possible outgoings, with Isaac Price once again touted with a possible move away.
There is still a long, long way to go before the season starts, but hopefully at least a few new players are recruited before then.
