‘Outstanding’, ‘Underrated’ – Many West Brom fans drool over form of 29-year-old
Jake Livermore has been one of the most improved players at West Brom in the opening weeks of the season and supporters on Twitter have been full of praise for the midfielder’s latest form.
Livermore, 29, has captained the Baggies to the top of the Championship table after 11 games played with the former Tottenham midfielder starting every single match and scoring one goal in the process.
In his last few appearances, he has really moved up through the gears in terms of his performance with stand-out displays against Cardiff, QPR, Huddersfield and Blackburn.
Livermore has noticeably slimmed down and become a lot more agile on the field this season, while during the days of Tony Pulis and Darren Moore, the seven-times England international was seen more of a hard-knock midfield enforcer whose job was to break up opposition attacks.
While that is still part of Livermore’s role now, he has also started to contribute more in the attack thanks to his new-found ability to get up and down the pitch must faster than he used to.
West Brom’s official Twitter account has caught on to how much praise Livermore has been getting from fans so far this season and have asked supporters to sum up the midfielder with one word.
