West Brom assistant manager Julian Dicks has heaped praise on Grady Diangana for the way the on-loan West Ham attacker conducts himself at the training ground.
Diangana, 21, has been in superb form since joining the Baggies on a season-long loan in the summer transfer window.
He has scored four goals and supplied five assists in 14 Championship appearances this term and his form has led to fears that West Ham could recall him in the first two weeks of January.
Dicks, who used to play for West Ham and work there when Slaven Bilic was in charge, has offered great praise for Diangana for his mannerism off the field.
“He’s a great lad,” said Dicks, as quoted by The Athletic.
“He is very polite and for me that’s a very big thing because manners cost nothing. You say good morning to everybody. Even if you don’t like people you say good morning, you hold the door open for them. That’s just the way I am and he’s exactly the same.
“He’s a very polite young man.”
It is great to hear how Diangana acts behind the scenes because on the field, he is an absolute force to be reckoned with.
West Brom are top of the Championship table and are flying at the moment, with Diangana producing fine display after fine display on the left-hand side of Bilic’s attack.
Let’s hope that West Ham don’t terminate the loan deal in January.
In other West Brom news, a report has shared Diangana’s stance on the speculation surrounding his future at The Hawthorns.
