Alan Brazil believes that the race for the Championship title is between West Brom and Leeds United.
Slaven Bilic’s side are currently top of the second-tier standings, two points clear of Preston and third-placed Leeds after 16 matches.
Albion have lost just once all season in the league and that was when they travelled to Elland Road to play Marcelo Bielsa’s men in October.
However the Baggies remain ahead of the Yorkshire club and, at this stage of the season, seem as though they are on course for a return to the Premier League at the second time of asking.
TalkSPORT host Brazil cannot see past West Brom and Leeds in the race for promotion, although it remains to be seen how his opinion develops as the season develops.
“I really think it’s a two-horse race in the Championship between West Brom and Leeds,” said Brazil on talkSPORT on Monday morning.
The ex-Scotland international added: “West Brom are a well-supported club, they take their support away from home.”
“Finish above Leeds & you go up.” ⬆️
“They play some of the best football & defensively they’ve been superb.” 👏
“If they get promoted they’re talking about making Elland Road a 50k seater. They’d sell that out.” 🎫

It would be simplistic to say that the race for the two automatic spots is between just Albion and Leeds because how many people said that last season?
Norwich and Sheffield United were not exactly the hot-picks for the top-two but they managed it with relative comfort in the end.
Preston, Swansea, Nottingham Forest and Fulham are other teams that are currently in the mix who people need to be taking seriously.
It’s no guarantee that the Baggies and Leeds run away with it this season.
In other West Brom news, Julian Dicks is very impressed with this Albion player.
