'Can anyone stop West Brom?' – Sky Sports pundit predicts clash v Sheffield Weds

West Brom have a tricky run of fixtures coming up. According to stats site Infogol, the Baggies have the fifth hardest run over the next six games.

The infogol table is worked out by the opponent’s forecasted finishing position in the Championship.

Over the next six games, West Brom’s opponents average out at 10.8th in the league.

The run starts with the visit of Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday but Sky Sports pundit David Prutton thinks that Slaven Bilic’s men will overcome this first hurdle.

Writing in his regular column on Sky Sports Prutton wrote, “Can anyone stop West Brom? They look like they have got the quality to really charge to promotion this season, especially with Slaven Bilic at the helm.

“Sheffield Wednesday have now got a potential points deduction looming over them, and it must feel like Deja Vu for Garry Monk. Home win for me.”

Prutton doesn’t think it’s going to be easy though and is predicting a 2-1 win for West Brom.

Honours were shared last season, with the teams drawing 2-2 at Sheffield before contesting a 1-1 draw at The Hawthorns last December.

Before last season the two sides hadn’t met since 2010 and West Brom got the better of those exchanges with three wins on the bounce without conceding a goal.

Saturday’s game kicks off at 3pm.

In other West Brom news, fans want the club to offer a new deal to this attacker.
