‘This youngster is something special’ – Many West Brom fans hail ‘on fire’ teen for U23s display

West Brom Under-23s won their third Premier League 2 game on the bounce on Monday night as they thrashed Sunderland 4-0 away from home.

Zak Brown and Finn Azaz were on the scoresheet for Albion’s youngsters while Rayhaan Tulloch continued his fine form in front of goal by bagging himself a brace.

Tulloch, 18, is one of the more impressive youngsters in the Under-23s squad and that is backed up by his goalscoring record this season.

Tulloch has already started to break into the West Brom first-team every now and then.

He made his third senior appearance for the Baggies earlier this month when he came off the bench for the closing stages of the FA Cup third-round win against Charlton.

Although he was on the pitch for a matter of minutes, it was still a cameo that is bound to have an impact on the youngster’s development.

West Brom fans have taken to Twitter to wax lyrical about Tulloch’s form in the Under-23s and plenty are suggesting that Slaven Bilic should hand him more chances in his senior squad.

Based on his record in front of goal and the faltering displays of the first-team in the Championship – who can blame them for wanting to see more of the 18-year-old ace?
