Report: West Brom have two bids rejected for international attacker
Dinamo Zagreb have rejected two bids by West Brom as Slaven Bilic aims to sign Mislav Orsic, according to Sportske Novosti.
The Croatian news outlet claims that Albion opened their bidding with an offer worth up to £6.7million, before upping the ante to £7.5million.
However it is understood that both bids have been kicked into touch by Dinamo, who are holding out for £8.3million for the 27-year-old attacker.
Although the Baggies have seen two bids rejected so far, Sportske Novosti claims that the Black Country club could match Dinamo’s asking price with a third bid for Orsic today (Sunday).
West Brom could offer the £8.3million straight up or decide to table a slightly lower with the sum made up in bonuses.
Either way, it is reported that Albion are going to meet Dinamo’s demands and that could mean that Orsic will head to The Hawthorns before the end of the month.
Orsic has been in superb form for Dinamo this season.
The Croatia international has scored 19 goals in 26 appearances across all competitions this season and even earned his debut caps for his country.
West Brom need to add to their squad before the transfer window slams shut up five days’ time.
Orsic’s impressive numbers suggests that he could be someone who will revive the club’s faltering Championship form.
In other West Brom news, Rangers have opened talks with this Albion player.
