Some West Brom fans rave about ‘MOTM’ v Nottm Forest: ‘Turned into a machine’

Jake Livermore’s impressive form continued on Saturday as West Brom drew 2-2 against Nottingham Forest at The Hawthorns.

The 30-year-old has been impressing fans every time he takes to the pitch in recent fixtures and that was no different this weekend.

He forced the own goal by Nottingham Forest with a nice low cross into the penalty area and dominated the midfield for large spells of the game.

However, there’s no denying that the former Hull midfielder was a bit lucky to have not been sent off in the first half for an ugly challenge on Yuri Ribeiro.

Still, Keith Stroud failed to hand Livermore his marching orders and that was crucial in West Brom playing well against the East Midlands club.

According to stats by WhoScored, Livermore made four key passes on Saturday – only Filip Krovinovic [5] completed more – and he also won two tackles and both of his shots at goal were on target.

Livermore has really stepped up his performances lately and that has not gone unnoticed by a section of fans on Twitter, with a few even saying he was their man of the match this weekend.
