West Brom’s winning streak came to an end on Saturday when they were held to a 2-2 draw by Nottingham Forest at The Hawthorns.
Matty Cash scored a late equaliser for the away side but it could have been a whole lot different if the linesman did not flag an offside for Callum Robinson’s injury-time effort that crossed the line before being ruled out.
It was a controversial match with referee Keith Stroud coming under fire from both sets of supporters who were unhappy with his officiating.
But still, it was a decent performance by the Baggies as they once again proved that they have revived their form after a woeful December and January.
West Brom News’ panel of Super Fans have been asked who their Saints and Sinners are from the draw with Forest and here is what they had to say:
Jon W (@JonW1995)
Connor Moore (@Connormoore_wba)
Luke Stokes (@lukestokes84)
Jamie Rossiter (@Jay89R)
Luke Pollard (@LukeyP_wba)
Dylan Ashmore (@WBADyl)
It is no surprise to see so many pointing out Robinson as their man of the match.
Since joining the Baggies on loan from Sheffield United in January, the former Aston Villa winger has played a major role in helping the club’s fortunes change.
He scored his first goal for West Brom to open the scoring on Saturday and was unfortunate to have not bagged a last-ditch winner.
As for the Sinners, Kyle Bartley’s name has been the popular pick.
He scored an own goal that levelled the scores in the first half but there was not really much he could have done to deal with what was a very good cross by Forest’s Sammy Ameobi.
Bartley had another couple of iffy moments but all in all, there were not that many poor displays by West Brom’s players.
In other West Brom news, fans slammed this midfielder for his display against Forest.
