Birmingham City could be without three players for their clash against West Brom at The Hawthorns on Sunday afternoon.
Josh McEachran is unavailable due to a long-term injury issue but Blues manager Pep Clotet has refused to name the two players who are doubtful for the trip to the Black Country.
Clotet did say that the duo have small injury issues but would not disclose their names to avoid gifting key information to Baggies boss Slaven Bilic.
“Josh McEachran is not available, and we have two players who have minor injuries, I don’t know if they are going to be available for Saturday or next week but it’s nothing of concern at the minute,” said Clotet
“I will keep that close to my chest because that’s the only thing I cannot tell Slaven.”
West Brom also have a couple of players who will miss the game but they are players who have been recovering from long-term issues.
Nathan Ferguson and Jonathan Leko have both been recuperating from surgery and are not expected to play any part in the final nine games of the season.
It will be interesting to see who the Birmingham players are that are carrying knocks and whether or not they are key players for Clotet.
Either way, it is perhaps best that Bilic doesn’t know because Clotet’s injury update won’t distract him from setting his own team up and preparing to play Blues with the knowledge he has collected already.
