Jeremy Ngakia responds to West Brom star as Baggies celebrate promotion at Hawthorns
There is no hiding from the fact that Grady Diangana has played a massive part in helping West Brom earn promotion to the Premier League this season.
The West Ham loanee scored once again on Thursday, with the 2-2 draw against Queens Park Rangers enough for automatic promotion.
Slaven Bilic has made it no secret that he is a massive fan of the winger, who has certainly repaid his managers’ faith in him this season.
Diangana’s future will not be straight forward, with West Ham sealing their Premier League survival after their draw with Manchester United.
The immediate future of the 22-year-old was clear last night, with celebrations the only thing in mind. Diangana was front and central as the players left the Hawthorns to join in the pandemonium with fans.
Diangana shared a post on his personal Instagram account after the celebrations, sending a message to the Baggies faithful, thanking them for everything.
Eagle-eyed Instagram users will have noticed Jeremy Ngakia responding to his post, with there being a possibility of them being teammates next season.
Bilic will want to keep Diangana, there is no doubt about that. The only obstacle could be the £15-20million asking price as well as both Celtic and Ajax showing interest according to the Sun.
What about Ngakia? The defender has already left West Ham after refusing to sign a new deal, and the Hawthorns could be his next destination.
Hammers insider, ExWHUemployee, reported that the Baggies were hot on the heels of the 19-year-old, who is wanting guaranteed first-team football next season.
With Nathan Ferguson recently leaving for Crystal Palace, Bilic will be screaming out for another full-back and with Ngakia looking like a realistic option – the young Hammers band could be getting back together.
