Player likes Sky Sports post saying West Brom have agreed deal to sign him
Grady Diangana has liked an Instagram post by Sky Sports which says that West Brom have agreed a deal to sign the winger from West Ham.
Sky Sports reported earlier this week that the Baggies have agreed to pay a fee worth up to £18million to re-sign the 22-year-old after a superb loan spell at The Hawthorns last season.
It is understood that he’s been given permission to enter talks about returning to the Black Country and it seems there is weight to the claims based on his latest social media activity.
Sky Sports uploaded a video of Diangana tearing Swansea to shreds in Albion’s 5-1 win over the Welsh club last season, adding the caption: “Throwback to this absolute madness in West Brom’s 5-1 thrashing of Swansea, with the Baggies agreeing a deal to sign the West Ham forward permanently!”
Diangana – as well as Matt Phillips – liked the post.
Diangana lit up the Championship with his performances in blue and white stripes last season.
The England Under-21 international scored eight goals and supplied seven assists in 31 appearances across all competitions for the Baggies as they won promotion to the Premier League.
Every single Albion fan wants to see Diangana back at The Hawthorns next season so he can continue his development under Slaven Bilic and transform into a quality Premier League attacker.
After what we saw in the Championship, Diangana has the potential to do exactly that and we hope that him liking that Instagram post is a major hint about where his future lies.
In other West Brom news, the club is in advanced talks to sign this centre-back.
