‘How is that allowed to happen?’ – talkSPORT pundit asks big question about WBA talent v Everton

Jamie O’Hara has lamented West Ham’s decision to sell Grady Diangana to West Brom this summer following his strike against Everton on Saturday.

The wide man opened the scoring with an impressive solo effort in Albion 5-2 defeat to the Toffees, but couldn’t prevent his side from sliding to a second consecutive Premier League defeat.

Nonetheless, O’Hara saw enough from the 22-year-old to question why the Hammers allowed him to leave the London Stadium.

Writing on his personal Twitter account, the talkSPORT pundit said: “Diangana”, followed by a fire emoji.

“West Ham fans. How is that allowed to happen?

“He’s very decent”.

This is the exact question that every West Ham fan in the country will be asking themselves right now.

Diangana was a rare bright spark for Albion in an otherwise abysmal afternoon, and his solo strike was a timely reminder of the exceptional talent that he possesses.

O’Hara wasn’t the only one who was left baffled by the decision to sell him either.

As well as the obvious outpouring of frustration from captain Mark Noble at the time, former Iron Trevor Sinclair also took to social media during the game to point out that Diangana’s strike was “what all the fuss is about”.

Any Hammers watching on Saturday will have been left fuming by his impressive display, but from a Baggies point of view, we need to find a way of turning his influential performances into points on the board.

In other West Brom news, Bilic confirmed an injury blow to one of his players after the win against Harrogate.
