Journalist shares if West Brom exit is imminent for 26-year-old
West Brom striker Kenneth Zohore could be anywhere come Friday evening.
There are obviously strong links with a number of Championship clubs, with Sheffield Wednesday clearly interested in the Dane.
A recent COVID-19 outbreak has seen Callum Robinson forced into isolation though, and with Hal-Robson Kanu injured – Zohore could be involved in the Premier League clash against Burnley on Monday.
With the Premier League and EFL clubs having until Friday evening to complete deals, Wednesday have three days to get their business done.
Yorkshire Live journalist Dom Howson has shared an update on the Owls’ pending transfer business and shared if anything is imminent.
“As things stand, nothing is imminent on the transfer front,” he said. “If something happens, it is looking increasingly likely that it will go down to the last day.
“Flint and Zohore would be excellent signings and round off a very good window. I think Flint might be more difficult to pull off than Zohore.”
The exit of Zohore clearly depends on two different things.
One is obviously whether or not Robinson is made available for action by the Premier League after a number of tests.
The second is if the Albion can secure the signing of Karlan Grant from Huddersfield before Friday’s deadline – something which could go all the way to the wire.
Joseph Masi of the Express and Star claimed that he still expects the Baggies to bring in Grant, but as the deadline draws nearer, the nerves will grow.
Zohore’s exit should depend on that, and we should expect there to be a number of players coming in and out at the Hawthorns.
