Rayhaan Tulloch has returned to West Brom for treatment on his hamstring after picking up an injury while on loan at Doncaster, it has been confirmed.
The 19-year-old moved to the Keepmoat Stadium on loan this summer and has made two appearances for Darren Moore’s side. In his second appearance, against Charlton, he was withdrawn after 13 minutes with due to this injury.
Moore has confirmed that Tulloch will miss the next couple of weeks but said he is hoping for positive news about his injury next week.
Speaking to the Doncaster Free Press, Moore said, “I’ll be speaking to the powers that be at West Brom to see what the prognosis is.”
The Baggies starlet shone in the Premier League 2 last season, scoring nine goals and registering four assists in 14 appearances. The attacker also made three appearances in the FA Cup for the first team, playing a collective 33 minutes across games against Charlton, West Ham and Newcastle.
Tulloch did make the first-team squad in the Championship on one occasion, but he was an unused sub as the Albion beat Luton 2-0 at the Hawthorns.
He has shown great potential and is one of Albion’s brightest young stars. The loan move to Doncaster is the next step in Tulloch’s development and this season could be crucial for his development as he looks to cut his first-team teeth in League One.
Baggies fans and Doncaster fans alike will be hoping that Tulloch can recover from his injury quickly so he can continue his development and help Doncaster in League One, before potentially being part of the Baggies first team set up next season.
