‘There to take’ – Nigel Quashie sends West Brom message ahead of Brighton clash
Nigel Quashie has backed West Brom to pick up all three points against Brighton in the Premier League on Monday evening.
The former Baggies player believes the trip to the AMEX Stadium is the perfect opportunity for the Albion to pick up their first win of the season.
West Brom go into the game on the back of their 0-0 draw with Burnley last week, which was their first clean sheet of the campaign.
Quashie delivered his message to the Baggies on Monday morning, backing them to take advantage of this opportunity.
“What a way to kick start the season because this game is all there to take the three points,” he wrote on his personal Twitter account.
Brighton aren’t in the best form either, needing a last-gasp goal to draw against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park last week.
The Seagulls go into the game without their captain Lewis Dunk, who is starting his three-game suspension after getting sent off in that one.
Our exclusive West Brom News pundit Kevin Phillips agrees with Quashie, and has backed the Albion to pick up all three points.
Super Kev believes that the Baggies will win by the odd goal on the south coast, with the absence of Dunk a massive factor behind his prediction.
West Brom are currently in their worst start to a Premier League season for 16 years, and the quicker that ends, the better.
